Excellency in Public Service through PRIME-HRM

Our Agency received two plaques of recognition from Civil Service Commission PRIME-HRM program last 23rd of November and 17th of December year 2020. BJMPRO-I is recognized as compliant on Recruitment, Section and Placement (RSP) and Rewards and Recognition (R&R) as a result of meeting the standards or indicators for PRIME-HRM Maturity Level II based on the validated self-assessment and evidence requirement. It only shows that the agency has sets of defined and documented Standard Operating Procedures established and subject to improvement over time. Also, the agency exercises computer-based systems.

PRIME-HRM stands for Program to Institutionalize Meritocracy and Excellence in Human Resource Management. It aims to elevate public sector human resource management to a level of excellence through process of excellence through s process of assessment, assistance and recognition of HRM systems, competencies, and practices using HRM maturity level indicators that are at par with global HRM standards. It also envisages to inspire agencies to transform their HRM systems that support the agency mandate, empower agencies in the performance of human resource management functions serve as a venue for exchange and development of expertise in the area of human resource management between and among government agencies, and serve as a search mechanism for best practices in human resource management.

We are honored and grateful that our best practices have been acknowledged by the CSC and we have been guided by the principles of PRIME-HRM Program. This recognition inspires us to do more in attaining the Maturity Level II with the two remaining Systems which are Learning and Development (LD) and Performance Management (PM) until we achieve the Bronze Award in PRIME-HRM MATURITY LEVEL II.
